UK Home Office announces new immigration fees

The United Kingdom has announced an increase in most immigration fees. In some cases, fees will go up by as much as 33% or more. Most fees, however, will only increase slightly. The increases will take effect "in the near future." Among the changes, businesses hiring workers from outside of the European Economic Area will now have to pay a one-time, "sponsorship license" fee.
