UK Tier 1 vs. HSMP 2008-02-20tags: advert: The United Kingdom begins the phased introduction of its new Tier 1 rules for highly skilled immigrants over the next few weeks. Applying for an HSMP visa now will come under slightly easier English language requirements, and people may take advantage of the MBA provision before it is removed under Tier 1. HSMP holders who can't extend their leave to remain under Tier 1 will have transitional arrangements to assist in transferring to another Tier.
