24 December 2004
For concise and recent immigration information watch our news.
Following pressure from the UK Department of Health it is now easier to employ all salaried General Dental Practitioners, Salaried Assistant Dentists and Vocational Dental Practitioners in the healthcare sector under the work permit scheme. There is no longer a requirement that employers advertise nationally to show a shortage of suitably qualified people to obtain a work permit as these occupations now meet the Shortage Occupation Tier One criteria.
