UK Sector Based Work Permit Scheme Extended

Work Permits (UK) has recently announced that Government Ministers have granted permission to extend the current Sector Based Scheme (SBS) pilot programme for another year. The programme is intended to run until at least 31 January 2005 due to the success of this programme. During the year the SBS programme will be reviewed by Work Permits (UK) in conjunction with other Government Departments to see how this scheme has impacted the UK economy and certain sectors of industry.

Under current regulations, SBS will continue to operate within the Food Manufacturing and Hospitality sectors. Please check this website for future updates on quota levels.
