workpermit.com now has a free, easy to use, and comprehensive points calculator on our website for people who wish to assess their chances of immigrating to the United Kingdom under Tier 1 for General Highly Skilled Migrants (GHSM), part of the UK's new five-tier points based system. The calculator takes into account the guidance and immigration rules released by the Border and Immigration Agency on 29 February 2008.

Currently, Tier 1 is only implemented for those who are already legally in the UK under certain categories, such as the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) or a UK Work Permit. However, those who wish to assess their chances of entry from outside the UK (starting 01 April for applicants from India and summer 2008 for the rest or the world), can use the points calculator as well.
workpermit.com was the first website on the Internet with points based calculators for assessing a migrant's ability to immigrate to various countries that use points based systems. Our calculators are popular because of their speed and ease of use.
We are also providing a free Tier 1 Assessment form for individuals interested in having their qualifications assessed on a more comprehensive level. After filling the form and sending it in, an immigration consultant will contact you.
