The UK Border and Immigration Agency (BIA) has published statistics which shows further reductions in the number of Eastern European immigrants coming to the United Kingdom continues to decrease. The UK was one of three EU member states to allow unrestricted free movement of labor for A8 citizens in 2004. REMINDER -- the United States' 2010 Diversity Visa Lottery (also known as the Green Card Lottery) will begin very soon. People born in a country with low levels of immigration into the United States may be eligible for entry in the Green Card Lottery. The submission period for the Green Card Lottery is expected to start in October and last through late November.
