UK Immigration has announced from 2 July 2012, Tier 4 student applicants in Singapore will be eligible to use their priority visa service. The priority service is available for Tier 4 visa applicants who pay an additional fee to have their visa application processed more quickly. Under this program the UKBA aims to process all applications using the priority service within 3 - 4 working days of receipt.
From 1 July 2012, the UK Border Agency will offer two new fast track services for Bangladeshi UK visitor visa and Tier 2 visa applicants under the Business Express Programme. The Business Express Programme is for Bangladeshi companies invited by UK Trade and Investment and the UK Border Agency to be members of the programme.The fast track processing is an optional service for visa applicants, under which the UKBA will process visas and return documents within three working days in Dhaka and five working days in Sylhet.
Immigrants wishing to gain Citizenship in the UK may now be required to learn part of the National Anthem; one of many proposed changes to the Citizenship Test.In 2011, David Cameron announced that he was planning to overhaul the citizenship test and now it appears as though the government is moving ahead with the planned changes; the Citizenship Test, which is currently 45 minutes long, has faced criticism in the past – it has been suggested that immigrants were not properly tested on the culture and history of Britain.
Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard formed a three-member expert panel to reassess Australia's approach to border protection and asylum issues. She announced that former Defence Force chief Angus Houston would lead the panel.
New Zealand immigration services announced their visa fees will increase by 16.7 percent from 2 July 2012.

"The increase reflects the cost of delivering immigration services. New Zealand's fees will remain broadly comparable to competitor countries," said the immigration department.Around 80 percent of visitors to New Zealand will not be affected by the increase as most travel visa free. A small number of positions for experienced long haul truck drivers have opened up in Canada. If you are successful in your application for one of these positions you will be granted a two year work visa with the possibility of permanent residence at a later date. To apply you should have a minimum of two years experience as a truck driver.
