New Fee Regulations for British Nationality

The British Nationality (Fees) Regulations approved by Parliament in December 2003 came into effect on 1 January of this year.

The new table of fees for certain British nationality applications is as follows:

5. Arrangement of a citizenship ceremony (including the administration of a citizenship oath and pledge at the ceremony)68

7. Supply of a certified copy of a notice, certificate, order, declaration or entry given, granted or made under the 1981 Act, any of the former nationality Acts or the 1997 Act20
8. Administration of a citizenship oath, or oath and pledge (where not administered at a citizenship ceremony)5

Furthermore, citizenship ceremonies have also commenced and are required to be attended by new British citizens.
