The eligible Subjects at each Level of Study for the Science and Engineering Graduate Scheme are defined in the Joint Academic Coding System (JACS).

Any subject with a JACS code having the same letter and first digit as a Principal Subject falls within that Principal Subject. For example the Principal Subject H100 General Engineering includes H121 Fire Safety Engineering.

Your course tutor will be able to identify approved programmes and subjects. Approved courses can be identified by their Higher Education Statistics Agency Code or JACS Code.
